I am an impressionist Alla Maiskaia, and I am glad to see you in my gallery. I look for beauty in the ordinary things that surround us every day.
Inspiration is everything I come into contact with: the first spring flowers, the play of glare on the wall, a spinning leaf. In recent years, the number of creative trips and plein airs has increased in my life.

I invite you to look at the world through my eyes and I hope that you will find here something in tune with your spiritual quest.

Section dedicated mainly to flowers in a landscape and still lifes with them including themed still life paintings. Flowers are my favorite nature, changeable, lively.

Chrysanthemums

The snow-white cloud of late chrysanthemums, cut off before the coming frost, together with splashes of draperies and dishes thrown on the table, made an interesting color interaction.

Summer

I try not to miss the bloom of these sunny harbingers of summer. I weave wreaths from them, put them in a vase or just throw them on the table. This work is a multisession sketch from nature. Exhibit of the exhibition "Flowers. Shapes" in St. Petersburg in 2019.

Evening

Irises velvet dark and sugar yellow — exquisite modernist flowers. We add to them the glancing rays of the sun, a female image, and we are faced with the expectation of something mysterious and exciting.

Dessert

Summer shadows, whimsical patterns, located on the table, a rose bush in the background, dishes sparkling in the sun — all these are dishes at a feast of fleeting summer.

Chamomile and thistle

Chamomile and thistle are a combination of the opposite. Delicate quivering petals and sharp thorns, light corollas of daisies and heavy dense balls of thistle set off each other.
