I try not to miss the bloom of these sunny harbingers of summer. I weave wreaths from them, put them in a vase or just throw them on the table. This work is a multisession sketch from nature. Exhibit of the exhibition "Flowers. Shapes" in St. Petersburg in 2019.

Irises velvet dark and sugar yellow — exquisite modernist flowers. We add to them the glancing rays of the sun, a female image, and we are faced with the expectation of something mysterious and exciting.

Chamomile and thistle are a combination of the opposite. Delicate quivering petals and sharp thorns, light corollas of daisies and heavy dense balls of thistle set off each other.
